We are excited to have the spacious and elegant MS River Discovery II as part of our Titan river cruise lines. Tastefully refurbished, this river cruise ship is our most spacious to date and offers a super range of facilities to enjoy. And if you’re looking for a wonderful Danube river cruise, then MS River Discovery will be sailing the scenic waters of this magical river, passing the gorgeous Wachau Valley vineyards and elegant, culture-filled cities along the way.

As the ship gently sails down the River Danube, you can enjoy generously sized cabins over three decks, and elegant communal areas that are perfectly designed for guests to mingle. Relax in two stylish lounges or the sun deck, and dine on wonderful cuisine in the Compass Rose restaurant, where you can enjoy free-flowing, complimentary wine, draught beer, mineral water and soft drinks at lunch and dinner. As always, Titan river cruises are accompanied by a Titan cruise director and tour manager who will ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Cabins on MS River Discovery II

The cabins are spacious and there are six different room categories, from palatial deluxe suites on the upper deck, to dedicated solo occupancy cabins on the lower deck. While there are a few different nuances in cabin grades, guests will love the light, bright and generously sized rooms, which offer up a comfortable base to unwind, and all with fantastic river views. Guests in superior and deluxe cabins can take in the sights and sounds from their French balcony, which means that the windows slide open like French windows with a balcony rail, and you can sit in the easy chairs in the privacy of your own room, with lovely fresh air and a great view of the ever-changing scenery.

Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in all our river cruise cabins, so you can enjoy a warm drink whilst watching the gorgeous scenery pass by from your window. We are also introducing refillable Titan water bottles and water stations onboard, as we make it our mission to cut the use of single use plastics.

The panoramic lounge bar is the hub of the ship with floor-to-ceiling windows allow plenty of natural light and plenty of comfy seating. Leading off the lounge is the outdoor lounge terrace with seating, and there is also a semi-enclosed library, which provides a range of books and popular board games for you to enjoy, together with a printed daily ‘newspaper’.

A super feature of this ship is the smaller Captain Club lounge. This is a place to meet friends, play a game of cards, and enjoy a coffee from the 24-hour station. There is retractable roof allowing a great indoor/outdoor experience when the weather allows. The lounge leads to a terrace with outdoor seating at the rear of the ship – another lovely place to relax and enjoy the amazing views on the River Danube.
